mark williams 7,568
Well, went to the gunsmiths and picked up the RWS Excaliber,- one gorgeous stock but (for me) "dated", old. I was not keen on .22 to start with but was intrigued with the hype i have read, not any more, i did not like the magazine at all , no pressure guage, missing silencer, missing sling £500 no way . So i will keep the HW 100 ks .22. I did, however, buy the Primos Shooting Sticks( tripod gen` 2) and what a difference to my £30 cheapo`s, my rifles felt set in stone in the Primos, absolutely "rock solid" and stuck firm on aim . So since the gunsmiths "made me" have a day off work i set about "perfect zero" on all three rifles but they only needed the tiniest of tweaks put together. All three will strike a match at 35 yds. atb and thank`s for all the advice lads Quote Link to post

mark williams 7,568
MMM £300 might have made me bite but never £500. You could get the likes of a new Ultra, Walther, Brocock etc, etc for that. I`ll stay with the HW ks .22 atb Quote Link to post
