it's called The Hunting Life, not The Pet Life. This is a hunting forum about working dogs. If the dog doesn't work, get rid of it. I don't have the kennel space to fook around with a dog that doesn't do what I need. Some people that may rub the wrong way but I'd much rather someone be happy and give the dog a good life instead of me being disappointed with it all the time. Nice looking dog mate

Gareth12. I'm a soft f****r with my dogs. But I wouldn't knock someone for getting rid of a dog they weren't happy with. They are working dogs. End of story.

Gaz give your fcuking head a shake, the fella bought a 10mth old saluki pup knowing what it was or then again it might have been in disguise, held it for a couple of weeks passed it on due to no commitment, buys another pup then buys this dog plus the pup he already has st 8 mths which he's had on the lamp, are you telling me that you can take this fella seriously, I pity the dogs, all these dogs and that kind of attitude ends up with a kennel of wasted animals!

As I said dogs don't make the grade sometimes, that's a fact ive had it myself and most people who keep dogs probably have. But in most cases if not al that can be put down to the training, entering or breeding. Buying a 10 month old, taking it out once then moving it on because it's crap?? What's that all about?

Not to mention the condition the 8 month old was kept...poor mutt was a bag of bones, probably couldn't walk let alone run in that state.

I agree with the time frame. A dog can't show you what it's got in a month. Usually takes em at least that long just to settle in and get used to you

your a cheeky c**t gareth for 1 the i did not realise the dog was under weight untill i shaved it out then i admitted it was under weight its a saluki x its not going to bang on weight over night you idiot but yes the dog was light and i corrected that and as for cant run well the dogs proved it can run but there's cretin things you cant put on hunting forums
