bobcullen79 1,495
Hey All... Ive noticed a lump about the size of a marrow fat pea on my best jill, which I presume is a abscess as it looks like it was either caused by a tick and has burst but not enough to drain fully as it has a little dot type scab in the middle. Question is do I lance it with a hypodermic needle or let it go the distance or get raped at the vet? Quote Link to post
johnrthrfrd 223
I usually get a antibiotic capsule open it up and mix it in their water bottle and they have always healed up no bother 2 Quote Link to post
mushroom 14,207
Lance it, clean it then dust with antibiotics. Separate her and keep on top of it. Should be gone in a few days Quote Link to post

stealthy1 3,964
If it's your best jill, whip it down the vets to make sure it's not a tapeworm cyst Quote Link to post
