Silent Sniper 17
So got talking to the manager of the local rugby club in the pub last Friday and we got onto the subject of shooting. He recons the rugby field is littered with rabbits and a couple of games have been cancelled due to the field being unsafe for the lads, cut a long story I managed to blag my way on their and arrived at 6:30am Sunday morning to meet the grounds keeper who was mean to deal with the problem a few months ago but "haven't got round to it" lol he explained where they was and where most of the damage is on the field and invited himself along with me, I couldn't really say nothin as he has let me on. I'm an ex smoker and I used to smoke but this bloke is literally like a train he must have had 10 by the time we'd met to when we was sat up in a little metal dugout facing the surrounding trees haha it didn't take long to see just what I was up against they were coming out in 2's and 3's and my heart started pounding, to my surprise there were a lot of young and I mean a lot more than adults it seemed and I'm not one for taking young I leave them for another day but this bloke wanted rid so with a bit of hesitation I proceeded to do my job. 4 hours 70 fags and a full game bag later I had 12. The ground keeper was more than happy and seemed to enjoy it which was good apart from it must have looked like a episode of stars in their eyes by the time he was done smoking overall I enjoyed it and the ultra produced once again.! Also as a bonus I drive into the horse yard and saw a tree rat on one of my feeder points one hey haven't used a lot this year and has wielded the least squirrels, took him at 45yrds clean happy chappy Cheers SS 1 Quote Link to post
