We have a big tank out side it's a calor gas tank . Are we allowed to shop about and get the cheapest gas on the market and get it put in the tank with out any bother or are we restricted to calor ? Danka ?

Give them a ring and ask them. If the previous owner has bought the tank, it should be ok. If it's rented as part of the gas purchases, probably not. I doubt another gas supplier would fill a calor tank unless it was legit.

As I'm not inn a contract with calor I can shop else where. but if I go with a cheaper company that company buys the tank off of calor , just now with calor I'm paying 49 pence a litre , thanks

Just to add, I picked up one of the big red bottles (chest hight) for a hog roast for about £35 and I didn't even have a bottle to trade in! They either forgot to charge me the bottle deposit or it was stupidly cheap.

there isn't normally a deposit on the larger bottles, and the price is about right, shows how much caravan sites rip you off (last time I bought a 19kg from a camp site it was about £26, soon learned the error of going that route)
