Over here organic products are totally untrustworthy, I grow what I can and buy from local growers but who knows what people spray for pests or fertilise with??? . I recommend studying permaculture, but understand growing your own is constant work, the more you put in the more you get out.atvb.

The problem with the term organic is that it doesn’t really mean much, organic producers still use chemical spray for pest control etc. the ones they use are more “traditional” than the modern types but they are still pesticides. Then as they are more “traditional” they have often not undergone the studies that one would expect and are used more often to make up for being less effective. I have an allotment and just us a little common sense with pest management.

As an aside I love this graph, it aptly demonstrates that coincidence is not causation lol.
