The Lakes, Any Good Shops Or Things To Check Out.

I am off to the lakes to chill out for a week and wondered whether their was anything to check out while I am there ?.

I will be drinking coffee and reading air gum mags in the sunshine with my work mobile switched off lol.

one is keswick thats ok ish a very good one at cleator on the western side called low mill ranges and one in workington called lakeland guns..althou me and its owner dont get on its a good shop

John Norris in Penrith is excellent for clothing, boots, wellies and fishing tackle... Or 18 mile North up the M6 then Geoff Wilson guns and tackle is worth a look too

There's some good walks around there, wansfell pike is a good walk from Ambleside, there's some good fly fishing on rivers and lure fishing on Windermere itself.
