trappa 518
I'm pretty sure I've got 2 different types of frog in my pond. There are the usual greenish ones but I've got brown ones too. Defo frogs, not toads.I'm guessing they are the same type but they don't look it.Heres a pic of a brown one but you cant appreciate how different it is from the other ones from the photo Edited July 21, 2015 by trappa
neil cooney 10,416
Haven't you over there got a species called the Marsh Frog ?
trappa 518
I don't think so. According to the web there is a common frog and a rarer pool frog which is in one isolated spot in Anglia which is nowhere near me mate, plus it doesn't look like it. I'm puzzled. BGD 6,437
Is it not just a brown common frog? They come in a whole range of shades from green to brown
trappa 518
More than likely BGD as there are only two species and its not a pool frog. The photo doesnt do it justice thats all, it looks NOTHING like the other common frogs in the garden and makes me wonder.
