Nobby8126 96
Had a call yesterday from a very local golf course (about 2 mins drive away), took the pooch for a mooch up there last night with a couple of traps in tow to pre bait the area. Place is heaving with rabbits, conditions not ideal for ferreting, lots of thick deep guaze bush every where but still doable. Cant chuffin wait for the temp to drop and get out there. Going up there tonight to re bait and chuck out some longnets to show willing but have a feeling that it will provide a fair few busy days this winter. Quote Link to post

Nobby8126 96
Cheers bud and Yes mate few cage traps to keep the freezer topped up. Got a fair amount of land to use but none that is really that active, nice to have somewhere that should produce some fast paced action. Edited July 18, 2015 by Nobby8126 1 Quote Link to post
rabbit demon 302
Have a golf course me and one my mates do. His perm not mine. Was thinking of using them traps as the golfers are a moany bunch and would kick up hell if they saw snares. You know yourself. Most dont care but it only takes one or two of them to lose your perm if things arent being done right in their eyes. Going ferreting it come september.full of cover and going to be hard grafting. Nobby8126 96
You can pick the traps up for £12 on Amazon they work but you have to put the I me in with them, pre baiting areas for a few days to get the bugs used to them. Obviously numbers are limited to amount of traps but they keep the freezer topped up. 1 Quote Link to post

RussBoy 77
what you bait with mate or could you sit in the entrance of a well used hole and hope bunny comes out said hole Quote Link to post
Nobby8126 96
Could do mate but a bit of leafy veg and the odd carrot entices them a treat. Can't stress enough tho about pre baiting at least 3 days. Quote Link to post
