I've had a fair few issues with this bitch over her first year, all temperament related rather than working ability. Some i've managed to correct either fully or to some extent (with the help of some fantastic folk on here), and others I've just learnt to accept. She has had a fantastic first year, put some game away and really pleased me so far. And i'm even getting to quite like her miserable f***ing personality lol.

Looking good! The dog you kept back is a stunner. Glad to see the old girl is still going strong to! I've seen some photos of the dog pup that went up to North Wales, and heard he is doing well. Will be heading up to go and have a run out with him sometime!

Any idea how the rest of the litter are doing? Seems like you bred a good one matey

Aye, she's been worth persevering with. Can't fault the working ability at all, and she is an incredibly loyal and protective dog. The down side, is she is anti social, grumpy, over protective and can get quite angry lol. She's most certainly a one man dog.

She's a stunning looking animal in the flesh though, I definitely had a touch of the green eyed monster when I was up!!! Compared to my halfwit f@ckpig mutts!!!

Thank you! She does look quite pretty i'll give her that.

She hates the neighbours dog, cats, people or dogs approaching the car, any dog when she's on a lead, any dog that barks at her or me, any animal i show affection to, people who behave oddly, move fast, approach from the side or behind, anyone who goes near the mrs, cows, horses. . . . . . the list goes on. And she pretty much refuses to retrieve if there is another person or dog in the same field. She is also extremely protective over a kill.

But she has plenty of bottle, and plenty of brains and catches stuff, so I can't complain. And as i'm not on the long list of things that make her angry, I find her a really pleasant dog to be around, a proper companion mutt.
