With exception of Spain (grey area of Huelva and Portugese territoty ) no other country (including Belgium) allows holding of boar with dogs. dogs must be used exclusively as flushing dogs or recovery dogs. boris b 1 Posted November 25, 2007 Report Share Posted November 25, 2007 Went to austria last week via brataslavia , there were some lads of boar hunting in slovakia . said they had been a few times before good crack plenty of hunting and not to badly priced . another thing i noticed as we drove to vienna was the ammount of hares in the fields ! ive never seen so many in my life the place was teaming with them saw a good few deer as well .
