Rez 4,961
You've got a good un then. I dont mind them myself. Banging little fields rifles... Its the snobs and the rifles build gamo parts thats the issue. They'll be just fine once mastered. I actaully prefer the old style lightning myself for looks, but I do have the new shape one, px'd it for my S300 about 12 years ago. Quote Link to post

tomburras 2,730
I had a lightening too in 2004 and found it a nice gun. It was a handy ratting gun in a grain store I used to shoot in and found it to be very accurate. Recently thaught about trying another one. Quote Link to post
charlie caller 3,654
I had a .177 lightning xl around 2006/7 and it was a cracking little rifle, I dont know if it was a good one built on a good day, but it was producing 11.4 ftlbs all day long I seem to remember, and was very accurate, I would have liked to have tuned it, but let it go to a mate to shoot squirrels in his large garden, I just wish they would get rid of that bloody pin set up and use a bolt and shims like Weihrauch etc, then I would consider one again.
