Hydropotesinermis 724 Posted April 10, 2015 Report Share Posted April 10, 2015 Do what Sussex says, Glyphosate based weedkillers (Roundup) need to be put on the green part of a plant, they are then carried down to the roots where they eventually kill the root. You won't get an instant result either so. Let it grow back, mix some roundup and spray the plant early morning on a clear day so that photosynthesis is taking place and the stoma are open but its not so hot that the chemical evaporates. Leave it a week and reapply. Any new shoots that come through, reapply. You will kill it. It just takes patience. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
