tom17 18
Not what I like to do this time of year, however needs must and if been asked to ferret a local horse paddock riddled with bunnies, I am new to owning ferrets and have only had my 3 stinkers for about 6 months now, Will I be okay working the Jill if they are in season? James ed 58
Hello Tom Personally I wouldn't work a jill that's in season. Try put it off for a while till your jill is out of season, that's just my opinion though, ATB James Quote Link to post

tom17 18
I wouldn't normally be doing it this late feels like I'm ruining next seasons sport however if I don't do it they will get someone else on the land to control them. And I will do make going tomorrow hopefuly catch a few Easter bunnies 1 Quote Link to post
James ed 58
Your not ruining next season pal, just keeping your perm safe, all I'm doing is looking for a pup to train over the season no luck yet. Fingers crossed for your Easter rabbit mate. ATB James 1 Quote Link to post

northern lad 2,292
Get on and get it done Tom....Im in the same position, was on some paddocks today, lots of young about, but if you want to keep the owner happy its on his terms.Weve taken about 60 off in the last fortnight wich hes well pleased with,as a result we now have the farm next door and one across the road, all holding good numbers....About time we hit some decent bags,we ve grafted our arses off week in week out for as little as 3,s and 4,s sometimes,so hitting twenties is a nice change The two new ones are for September, all were doing next is a landowners garden,if hes happy we get the 900 acre shoot he owns for later in the year, permissions rolling in for us at the minute, all off recomendations too, which is pleasing,we really have done some hard yards this season ATB Dave 2 Quote Link to post
