fox digger 1,086
Rubber rings are no good on an older dog the bones will be to strong. Not so true mate!! Enlighten us then. Enlighten you on what? Lamb rings will work on whatever you put them on, warts on horses, casturating lambs, removing there tails, that's there purpose. Putting them on a dog you are doing so at your own risk as has been said. It's upto the individual if they want to risk it. Will it work? Yes most definitely. If your a cruel enough c##t to do it.Lol, if you say so!! far better than a wofking dog going around with a big raw bleeding mess at the end of his tail forever more!! 1 Quote Link to post

I agree it will be sore for the first couple of hours till tail dies, after that there will be no pain as the tail Has lost blood supply and is dead, how sore will the full tail be after a day beating through cover and already raw before the dog went out?? You work terriers judging from your profile pic so if a couple of hours of discomfort bothered you that much you'd never enter a terrier to ground!! 1 Quote Link to post
brucemyster 75
Thanks for all the advice, think I'll give the ring a miss, have rung one vet and all I got was you'll have to make an appointment, would have like'd a price before I paid a consultation fee. Quote Link to post
