Hi all,

Can anyone give me a run through of the process of preserving a rabbits foot.

I've had a look online but some say I have to skin the foot but not all way off, some say you have to soak it on alcohol and then this washing powder stuff which I believe is an American brand as they say to get it from Walmart.

Just interested in how people in Uk do it.

Cheers

Oh and any advice how use would preserve a fox tail as well would be helpful as planning on trying it next time I come across one in my sights.

Cheers

remove tail leaving bone on the fox and just steep it in meths for about 3 weeks + then wash it

Whole tail or split? If split, add a load of Borax to it, then just leave it. Let Borax do the rest.

As for foot…great question. Want to know this myself. If I find anything I'll let you know.
