New Bellman And Flint

Recommended Posts

I finally need to bite the Bullet to do some replacing and spend some money, forced to buy the new B&F Set. Tried to stay with what I am familiar with and get the old stuff, but too slow and keep missing out and B&F don't stock it.

Are the advancements they have done beneficial or is the older stuff better? Pros and cons?

Just wondering what problems have been found, with the charging process and the connections, moisture and dirt etc. I suspect using it is the same as the old one. Tip for the constant beeping...cut the Jack plug off the end of old earphones and stick it in the port on the box to stop the noise.

Meanwhile I will keep looking for the old set.......for now.

I personally prefer the pieps box. My friend bought the new red box setup, he didn't like at all and sold it very cheap. He offered it to me first and i passed on it. An other friend bought a barryvox pulse as they were well recommended (he has my old pieps setup that i sold him) We grab the dogs and the gear and he says "have you your box and collar with you?" which i always do. He then brings his pieps setup i sold him and the barryvox pulse is left in the house. we tested them both together on different digs, handy and deep. There was nothing we could see that made the barryvox better than the pieps. Many may disagree but thats my outlook, I wouldn't like it if it wasn't accurate. Proper collar positioning is a factor also, so is the man using the box.
