Ricky's 50 3
I've been looking at the Falcon Fabrication boxes. How long do they take to deliver also what are the best front opening or sliding door ? Quote Link to post
Accip74 7,112
I think mine came within the week, this time of year is a good time to order, because in mid to late summer they are most busy with new orders.... Just get a normal front opening door, it will be fine mate......the stuff I got from there was really well made... If in doubt, give him a call & discuss what you want, that's what I did....Atb Quote Link to post
Ricky's 50 3
Thanks for the replies I'm going for a single front opening large box when there sites working again. Quote Link to post
david901 162
You could always make your own out of light plywood. I have my own homemade box and also a falcon fabrications box. I found the Falcon fabrications box doesn't clean up as well as the wooden one. Also I find the perch not far enough from the floor which means the gos tail feathers touch the floor and can get dirty if she messes when travelling. David Quote Link to post

David Mine come up spotless with a bit of F10 & the perch can be raised a bit if you so wish, it's only held in place with screws....I always used a tail guard though, plus I had a male in a large box.....maybe that's why I didn't have an issue, I think it pays to go a bit bigger with boxes....Atb Edited January 16, 2015 by Accip74 1 Quote Link to post
Beastmaster1980 40
Probably best with a plastic box, less risk of asper and can be fully dried out were as a wooden box can be damp after cleaning increasing the chance of spores, just a thought? Quote Link to post
