Lamping Weather

Recommended Posts

Some good wind and light rain forecast here in telford over the next few days. To me that's ideal lamping weather. Although its light still, what do you lot think ideal lamping weather is? I know some lads who prefer it dry, me personally have had some of the best outings with light drizzle.

and theres a big moon this week,,,all the same iff theres a good thick cloud cover and some rain, i want to go out,,, some think to do with the gulf stream in the middle of the week bringing warm/ temp/winds etc..

Personally I don't like heavy rain,,,

The best nights of all,,,are those when there's a strong wind,,,but the temp rises those nights around 10 degrees with a strong wind are the best,,,,

But as with all things,,few and far between,,

Tbh I have never done a great deal in the day, mainly lamping. But I'm going to try and get out abit more in the day with this pup when it's older. What's you lots thoughts on entering a pup? I've always got them chasing on the lamp first, because that's all I really do. Some say entering in the day time can make them 'hunt up' on the lamp?! I personally can't comment as I've never done it that way. Cheers

I like those pitch black nights, a good wind blowing, and dry, and the shushois are feeding right

out. I know that to get the perfect night does not allways swing in our favour, but when they

do come along and everything slots in to place, cor i love it, dont you.... :toast:

All pups hunt up a bit dont they. They learn to stop it at night and do it in the day..but sometimes its useful for a dog to hunt up at night too.. I agree with you on a drizzle or light rain with some wind. Helps to keep dogs cool aswell I think.
