myself & stuart (archiekale)was on one of his perms yesterday, in the area around a big old country house , we have battered this area over the years but the bunnies allways come back not strong but enough for a days ferreting , anyhow over the day purse netting several small warrens we took 22 all good clean rabbits , the thing is 3 off the rabbits was really long in the body several inches longer than the rest ,i have never in all my years seen a strain like these ,i call them greyhound rabbits lol ,hopefully when photobucket uploads i can post a pic , cheers

With regards to the longer rabbits, you dont wether a tame rabbit has been crossed into them some where along the line, ive worked certain areas where the rabbits all seem to be a good size compared to other areas where the rabbits seem smaller, as you say it must be that particular strain for the area you are working, just like the different colours and shades you get, you dont know whats been put into them over the years
