So Annoying

Recommended Posts

Been shooting on one of my permissions for about six months now ,it consist of three fields of about 20 acres per field.

The fields are used for cattle and part of the first field is manly used for feeding with hay and dry food .

What I have noticed ,every time i shoot rabbits in this part they seem to have tape worm cysts on the back legs, is this caused because of the cattle feeding in this area or more waste from their back side ?

Has any body else found this on cattle fields they shoot on ?

It's all mixed grazing where I am so parasites are rife all year round.

Cows get the choice cud and sheep chow the remains.

They all share the parasites and a few of the farmers take interest as to the amounts of cysts we come across. Not through concern may I add, just interest.
