On top of a summit with the ulswater....the huntsman had just said into his radio 'we are on a summit somewhere, but we dont know where, or which way we are looking,or where we are heading'

Looks fine mate if you click on the image.

Agreed, fog can be nightmare up there. I had a bad do with it on striding edge once, on my own early one morning.

There's a scramble after you come off the ridge and i lost sense of direction... ended up on the inside of the horse shoe, clinging on for dear life! LOL

Is that Ullswater country country bye the way?

Few pic's for practice, does my head in!!

I was there when the fox was in the lake

I was also there rugby World Cup final day when England won

I had watched every game apart from that one

But hunting came first

Every body was trying to get the score on radios and phones lol

Good night in the pub (happy days )

Wilson bowe is sang by Paul Edgar,he whipped in for the Windermere harriers under the great Anthony Barker, sadly Anthony and the harriers gone.

You struggle now to get a sing song going,a lot of pubs dont want it and there are not many folk are willing to learn and have ago at a song.

I remember the world cup, watched it at the keepers house in Weardale after a days shooting and a night out for his 40th, what a weekend that was.
