bunny tickler 876 Posted November 30, 2014 Report Share Posted November 30, 2014 had an invite today from one of THL finest lad , met at daybreak in some far away place , it was a lovely morning ,rabbits everywhere to be seen , first warren a quick 3 bolts ,then 6 quickies again from the next one all good clean rabbits , i used a quickset plus purse nets but after the first warren it was easier to use the quickset (one of nelsons ) doing one warren we watched a stoat a field away catch & tussle with a rabbit in the middle of the field awesome to see , anyway the stoat left the rabbit still alive but in shock so my [BANNED TEXT] ran over to get the shell shocked bunny ha ha be rude to leave it anyway , either way by 1 am 16 in the bag with one dig we was happy enough with the catch , seeing & leaving plenty for another day ,all in all a bloody grand day out , its not all about big numbers is it ,cheers & thanks to my new found friend 6 Quote Link to post

It is something I would love to witness, nature at it's finest. I think to see that first hand eclipses the number of rabbits caught and would really make a day very special. smithie 2,444 Posted November 30, 2014 Report Share Posted November 30, 2014 (edited) it was a nice stead day with no preasure to catch all we could and for me it made it all the more enjoyable. bt forgot to mention 1 bunny jumped in to the river from the warren in the river bank and sat with its face in to the bank to evade capture his ferret looked at it and dived in after it very funny thing to see.
