Out Today On Some New Permision

went for a look on a old stubble field this morning with bunny tickler ,we shot over last week a dozen crows and about 8 peckers same field .the pigeons were still feeding there so decided to set up it was raining heavy as we arrived but soon blew over the pigeons were dropping out of the trees in there dozens we set up with 24 decoys a flapper and magnet these birds have been massing in this area for a while so when they hit the rape we should have some good days in this area ( hopefully) we kept adding the shot ones to the pattern the more the better we finished shooting about 2.30pm and not another bird appeared left at 3.30pm after cleaning up the tally was 53 woodies 5 crows 5 peckers not in pic and about 6 lost in a thick edge

(peckers ) ferral pigeons townies the ones you see in town centers and under motorway bridges also known as flying rats they carry every desease going its illegal to feed them in most town centers

nice one , my permission has not put any rape in this year , so only getting single figures , oh well at least I can get out.
