tomshep 41
Sorry just a post to have a quick moan. I live by some big open arable land on the downs and over the weekend some lads have been out driving the fields makeing a right mess just to get a slip on the hares. The problem I have is the police are hot enough at the moment and for the first time I have to take permission letters out with me as they are stopping anyone with a running dog. Now I,m not saying I am some sort of a saint as like a lot of lads I,ve done my share of fence jumping but crap like these lads have done just makes trouble for everyone and they have no respect for the game they run as you can see 2 dead hares in one field from the road maybe I,m getting old but it pisses me off. 15 Quote Link to post
dogmad riley 1,348
Don't mind driving the fields but leaving game is just disrespectful. Driving should be done with permission Quote Link to post

All it takes is 1 bad apple, was coming back from a days hunting-diging and same morning on my way over to my mates seen some lads along the road with lurchers and not a van or car to be seen anywhere.Back to when i was on the way home i noticed a chap standing on a gate peer with a phone pointed towards the field and as i looked out in the field i seen a couple of lads spread out with lurchers walking across the field, this was along the main road just outside a fairly large town,i some times wonder do they actually know that coursing hares is illegal, nothing against any man geting a run for his dog but why bring unwanted attention on themselves and everyone else that hunts. 1 Quote Link to post
lurchers 2,976
Thats why the sport is fecked because of these top notch coursing lads with there subarus thats only been in the game a couple of yrs or just starting out.they no everything as thats ok to them so no they dont have any respect and thats why ive been saying for a couple of yrs now the lurcher game is fecked because of this.they say hare coursing is more popular because its ilegal,i dont no if thats true but i no its hot now because of the idiots. lurchers 2,976
Thats what it has turned into and why the game is fecked.most of the time they dont even eat what they catch they just throw it,in my eyes they are in the wrong sport as we make alot of game pies and our kids go nuts for them. 3 Quote Link to post
DazAllison1 556
The annoying thing is we are all tarred with the same brush so to speak, farmers dont give a fek if your just out a wander yourself for a run or 1 for the pot, the lads who drive fields and cause mayhem have feked it for us all Quote Link to post
storm323 191
Not seen or heard much of this around my way ! Giving the lurcher boys more bad press ! Seems very disrespectful to the land and farmers and getting permission is always a struggle this will make it a lot harder! Quote Link to post
