billybunter 72 Posted October 26, 2007 Report Share Posted October 26, 2007 well i came home the other week mon 15 oct after a 15 hour day opened the door and tripped arse over bollox,well picked myself up to find this thing i said to the wife what the f@cks that and shes replies thats maisie,shes a english mastiff i said f@cking maisie i bet you payed a fortune for it, no 300 euro she says[ well i suppose that aint bad] well i was still moaning about it hours later saying all they do is eat sleep and shit, there as thick as f@ck, and hard to train, it will take ages to get it house trained etc etc well how wrong i was house clean in a couple of days, sits, stays, and lays down when told exerlant on the lead all in all a very intelligent gentle lovable charicter she is,and a pleasure to have around, what a differance a couple of weeks make as we would part with her for the world cheers bb Quote Link to post Share on other sites

It is a big dog, but a very astute guard dog It can really separate good/bad people and react accordingly hywel even at 4 months old she has a strong gaurding instict when talking to people on the door step or when on walks she will sit in front of you and be totaly focused on the person and will not move also if i leave the back door open she will sit there and wont even let the other house dog in mind you both parents are guard dogs on a big pig farm in ireland cheers bb Quote Link to post Share on other sites
