beast 1,884 Posted November 3, 2014 Report Share Posted November 3, 2014 i watched the show, it was a bit shit to be honest, but then these type of shows are not aimed at us, they are exaggerated and made dramatic for the casual viewer who knows feck all about the subject. its always happened, some trainers "manage" dogs, horses, athletes whatever in order to make a few quid, some are genuine and do their best in every race. my dad knew some racehorse trainers years ago, and they would run horses with different weihts of shoe to influence their performance. used to say an ounce on the shoe is worth a pound on the saddle Quote Link to post Share on other sites
