gamerooster 1,179
Are these genuine first crosses? What do you find there like for general alround work? Quote Link to post
jigsaw 11,902
yeah GR,the sires a pure d/h,i have seen him on a few days out but my mate that owns him is a coursing greyhound man and he doesnt keep poor dogs to be fair,i think their a great dog for a bit of everything, from fox to bushing to running a big rabbit but i dont think they can be in the same league as say a bull x for fox or a racy speedster for rabbits or a saluki type for long drawn out runs but as a very honest all round trier they sure take some beating, and the most important thing to me is their a lot of fun from what ive seen................,my other mate has a 1st x d/h bitch thats a flier, shes ran well on days out and i think id have no problem feeding and keeping one at all except i prefer the saluki type dogs first and foremost..................up on the hill the d/h x's seem to excell on the roughest ground ever, they sail over rocks and rough gorse like its not there where id be flinching if I watched my dogs run there.ive seen the sire course gear up on a hillside and to watch them cut across and guess where the quarry is heading is unreal as they cut corners and a lot of times they are invirably spot on and close the distance to successfull conclusions.im not promoting the dogs in any way im just giving an honest opinion as to what ive seen,a grand x for all round action on a variety of stuff. 2 Quote Link to post

jigsaw 11,902
as I said its nothing to do with me,theres 1 mate that owns the stud dog,the other I dont know at all so ive no vested interest in what happens to the litters, good bad or indifferent but im only saying what I think,it doesnt mean im right of course but there ye go for what its worth, gamerooster thats a career I never considered lol might be my calling huh? jigsaw 11,902
i expect he would be pat, only ever met him once, hes hours away from me,i dont know a whole lot about them to be honest, the only one I did own was furked up with electric fencing down my way, made him rather nervous so I rehomed him where he still enjoys life today as a pet.
