walshie 2,804
Just connected up our new TV exactly as the old one was, but the DVD player has a really grainy picture. The cable goes to the tivo box, an HDMI cables goes to the TV. The Tivo and the DVD player are connected with a scart. The other cables (aerial cables) don't seem to do anything at all whether they are plugged in or not. Can anyone please explain in easy foolproof English how to connect these 3 together so they all work? Thanks. P.S. i said EASY.
Ossie n Arch 1,683
Can't you plug the DVD direct into the TV with another HDMI Instead of going through the Tivo box ??
The one 8,597
Buy better quality leads ?
walshie 2,804
Leads are pretty good quality. It seems to go cable to tivo. HDMI from tivo to TV. ariial lead into DVD. aerial lead from DVD to TV. DVD is only connect to the TV via the scart as it always was, but it makes no difference if you unplug it. Really grainy picture. The tivo to TV picture is stunningly clear though. I don't need the DVD to record, just to play DVDs. It's doing my head in now.

treecreeper 1,136
you should be able to record straight onto TiVo box.
