As an update our 4 yr old lad accompanied us on an afternoon \evening mooch around one of the rabbit heavy perms, I shot 3 whilst he looked on and laughed at a stroppy mum who still had a full mag after a couple hours, he wanted a go on the rifle so layed him prone and explained what to do etc, whether he could see through the scope or not I'm not too sure but the hedge was a good target to not miss, but the best bit.... Both kids were eating our rabbit curry that's been in the slow cooker all day and loving it, very happy with that

Good to see there's still people out there getting young ens into it, my lads 6 what would people recommend as a first gun for him, I've got a webley fx 2000, was thinking of getting him a nice lightweight gun for Christmas plus it's a good excuse for me to have another play with a new toy haha
