First Time Pigeon Shooting

went for the first time on saturday, I didnt shoot, it was far too windy and i figured i didnt stand a chance, so just sat and watched!

 

loved it though!

 

we set up all the decoys and then sat in our hide for a couple of hours. Conditions werent really right for it, but we ended up with 6 pigeons and 5 crows. the pigeon breast is now in my freezer!

Good for you, dont worry about the wind some of the most productive days can be when its very windy, as the birds fly into the wind approaching the decoys as though intending to land they will slow down.

As above wind is your friend a lot of the time when decoying

Alot had already been shot from where we were too which probably explains the lack of brids! doesnt matter though, I had a good time!
