Polycarbonate/acrylic Help Please

Recommended Posts

I would really appreciate some help here please. I need two sheets of Acrylic, cut and drilled to size as pictures, dimensions are 680mm wide, one side 600mm deep the other 680mm and 10mm thick, rounded corners and smooth edges, they will need drilling as the screws indicate on the pics.

These are very nearly mirror images of each other except for hinge holes.

Can anyone steer me in the direction of a company that can do this for me please? I am prepared to travel a bit and would also be happy to supply plans or take the existing polycarbonate to the company as a template!

Many thanks.

It's a Birchwood 31 Commodore, 1982, later models only had the one window here, mine has two.

just done a quick search and it might be worth giving these guys a ring http://www.seaclear.co.uk/

i'll do a more detailed one when i get home from work, i deal with sheridanmarine.co.uk quite alot and im sure they could source them for you if they dont have them in stock, but as they specialise in freemans they probably wont, but will no someone who does.

Many thanks to everyone who has helped here, some good information and contacts, much appreciated.

One more question, I am getting confused about the actual material from various sites, so.................

Polycarbonate or Perspex/acrylic, and why?

Cheers!
