STRANGER 948
They are much better suited for this type of hunting. Close dense woodland where your primary area of shooting will be 150yds or less. Much wider field of view than usual scope. Used them on a boar drive in france. There were lads there using open sights as well to good effect
jigsaw 11,902
this will sound a bit off the wall but as it seems, once the red dot hits the body, pull the trigger, job done? Can they be utilised for close range every day shooting or just a specialised fast moving shooting? 3175darren 1,102
They certainly did the job there,a lot more people seem to be trying them,it would be worth having a go with one, but as said earlier they are more for the fast moving targets in woodland, and some of them shots were at a decent range, there's a guy on u tube uses them for munties on a 6.5x55,can't remember his name,

Mate showed me it,he didn't get a munty but shot a fox ,but if you think about it any advantage a scope can give you up in the open, must be lost in trees or woodland, and with a moving target the biggest field of view and fast focus as got to be a huge advantage,
Waz 4,293
See loads of people with these type of things on drives, will have to try one out. Just use solid slugs in a shotgun atm, never shot anything with the slugs though, only ever killed them with a knife.
