fireman 11,362
No and it's only this week mine have started to build or carry a lot more nesting stuff about but tobe honest with this rain and the coolness that will come with it i wouldn't be suprised if they take another week or two to get it together properly. Outlaw Pete 2,224
I was talking to a disgustingly experienced bloke, only last night. He said the wild birds are doing sod all, yet. And, I must say, checking twenty of my starling boxes showed me four were active. sixteen had bits of stuff in them. So, the birds are there. They're entering the boxes. They just can't (or won't) get it together to go down yet. He reckons it's the weather. Feels we're in for murder with the mites too. No frost to knock them down.
