Gaz_1989 9,539
Cheers for the comments lads. RM2508 and TB25 - Lady seems to have taken to the pup a lot better than she did. I still have to watch them and wouldn't leave them together. Not that they would fight, but the pup would just get spannered. Touch wood she hasn't had an injury since earlier in the season when she knocked her toe and I might get another season or 2 lamping out of her while the pup learns the trade. Crackers - Have you ever been on a big job? Lol. Dogfox123 - I take it you work shifts? I've done shifts before but much prefer straight nights. The body soon knows where it is. I don't fancy alternating days and nights. 1 Quote Link to post
alex1987 164
Spot on that gaz. Nothing better than mooching worth the dogs watching them enjoy themselves running free. Especially when you can be out early at dawn or late at dusk when all the fat lab walkers have gone home. How is the red dog bred? My brothers got a dog that looks very similar Quote Link to post
paulus 26
prefer a daytime mooch over lamping nowadays, Quote Link to post
DogFox123 1,379
Yeah I've done nights before and hated it, even if I had a decent kip I'd feel groggy and ratty. I could never get a sleep in the afternoon for a few hours either, funnily enough just as it was ready to go to work I'd start feeling sleepy and ready for bed haha. Quote Link to post

My brothers got a dog that looks very similar I've not got a clue mate. I brought her as a 2 year old saluki/whippet/grey that hadn't been worked. That was about 3 years ago. I think she was more like 3-4 years old and is getting on for 7-8 years old now. But I could be way off the mark. I often think there is collie in her, there is definitely saluki and probably a dash of bull aswell. But again who knows. How is your brothers bred? Few more of her... Quote Link to post
