nanscamp 0
15 month old lurcher bitch stolen from allotments near Rotherham between 19 and 20 September. She is a blue rough merle with a merle left eye. She is 18" tall. Also taken at the same time were 7 ferrets. The thief kindly left behind the ferret which had just given birth. These ferrets and the lurcher belong to a friend of ours without internet access so any information regarding their hopeful return can be given to me and I will pass it on. Lyn Quote Link to post

witton 6
Hope you get em back, thats the one reason i wouldn't keep a lurcher on an allotment in this day and age you need to keep anything of value close otherwise your asking for it to get stolen. Good luck witton Quote Link to post
Guest world.hunters
a photo would help if you have one as you know merles have very distinctive markings and could make all the difference mate. Quote Link to post

nanscamp 0
Thank you all for your concern. This guy is an old fashioned bloke who always kept his dogs and ferrets this way, not expecting any trouble. He only has an old photo when she was a small pup. He seems to think he must have upset someone who bears him a grudge and doesnt expect to see his dog again. I hope this isnt the case but unfortunately this is how some people behave these days. I will let you know if I get any information. Thanks. Quote Link to post
Acer1 0
Hope you get them back. I've recently had two ferrets stolen but the thieves were not so kind as they left 9 four week old baby ferrets behind with only the hob. Hard to believe anyone could stoop so low. Good news is they all survived. I really get upset and angry when I hear about dogs, ferrets, etc. being stolen. Good luck. Acer1 Quote Link to post
