beam 130
After reading his article in the edrd and being a fan of the white terrier. I thought I would start a thread too see if any of his stuff is still live and kicking? From what I've read they where a good strong line of Russell. Cheers, Quote Link to post

unlacedgecko 1,467
I've a dog pup bred down from the 'Brock' dog mentioned in that thread. He is out of a 'Brock' daughter put to a black dog of Irish lines. Both the parents are continental, so see plenty and varied quarry. 1 Quote Link to post

I read the article a few months back and now that I think about it, I think it was written by his son about his passing and the mutts he worked over the year's? I can't seem to find the article maybe someone on here can dig it up? Quote Link to post
tatsblisters 10,922
Some old boys from s.yorks had his stuff years ago and swore by them Quote Link to post
neil cooney 10,416
IMO it's as good an article that's ever been written about a terrierman. It's in issue 219 and every novice should read it. Regarding the blood of his terriers ? It's in a lot more yards than lads think, although maybe not in white terriers. 4 Quote Link to post

CorkyJohn 808
Used to enjoy reading RD's articles more than his dads tbh. Seen some nice dogs from their breeding, mate had asked to use one of their dogs over his russell bitch but TD refused saying there was already plenty of good dogs already out of 'Pepper' I think, if thats the dog that went missing 1 Quote Link to post
Bosun11 537
Terry's were always a bit 'jerky' John, If you weren't used to his style sometimes it took you two reads to fully get it (well me anyway!) BUT I always liked the content, good reading, from someone who knew his game. Quote Link to post
