How can we possibly imagine how the Easter bunny must have suffered ? Or, I could have suggested that a lifetime of belief and loyalty used to earn you eternal peace and salvation. Nowadays, you get double Nectar points and 2p off a litre of petrol ! Or, that in the midst of an obesity epidemic, the average British child will consume an extra 10,000 calories this weekend ! Or, that when all the chocolate eggs have been devoured, we will be left with an additional 3,000 tonnes of waste cardboard and plastic !
