j j m 6,626
well took my gun to my local gun shop yesterday to get it fixed the filler valved needed remooving anf new seals fitted inside, the chap couldnt get the end cap off for love or money and the end of the cap ended up all marked with screw driver marks ,he said im sorry with it being a old model they dont carry spares and basicaly you might as well throw the gun away which i was surprised to hear a gun smith say,so a quick phone call to sean and he says bring it over jeff i will have a look, well it wasnt easy but sean did get the end off and all the seals were knackered sean had to do some ajusting and filing to the inside of the cap and modify seals to fit ,he put gun back together chronoed it and its as good as new i cant thank him enough i knew he was good with guns but hes went right up in my books now what a top lad and he even done it all for free for me,now my point is if i didnt know sean and i know fak all about the insides of guns id of took the gun shops word and binned a very good looking gun,all i can say is thanks sean your a gent and you should open your own shop as you certainly will not be beat at anything to do with guns, 8 Quote Link to post

vizlauk 1,568
I must say I couldn't believe a gunshop / gunsmith had tried & failed to remove the parts in question, not only by the damage that they caused by doing so, but to trying & remove the inverted filling port while the gun was still full of air hence putting themselves in danger & any one else whom was in the shop at the time, 200 bar of pressure could have killed someone if they had of managed to remove the parts. As Jeff has said it's back to full working order now - free of charge for a good mate. Edited March 22, 2014 by vizlauk 4 Quote Link to post

Isn't that what's good on these forums and for me what they're all about, the pros helping us novices and people helping out where they can. Edited March 22, 2014 by DenBell Quote Link to post
