fireman 11,473
You can get early entrance tickets for most of the bigger bird sales Gnasher, they let you in at the same time the sellers and other traders are let in.It means the best birds will have been sold by the time the public are let in but that does not mean what is left will be rubbish but the sort after birds like Native Bullfinch hens will have been snapped up early.I've never been and was going up myself but car trouble means it won't be happening this time ,Taz is ment to be going so if you are as well drop him a line and he'll show you around i'm sure .

Outlaw Pete 2,224
I'd f**king love to go to a decent show. Especially one with plenty of coloured canaries. I'd like to be able to study them in real life. Unfortunately, it's never gonna happen Bummer.

Thats a shame id of picked you up on the way Fireman but the Hammers are up at Everton on saturday so im planning to stop over up that way rather than come home and go all up and down again.......that why i was asking if you have to get there at 8,if you do i,ll find somewhere reasonably local rather than get up at the crack of dawn .......i know Taz is on holiday till the day before so i,ll give him a call when im there. Is it just birds that are sold or food/accessories etc as well ?.......I fancy some of them upvc breeding cages, and a shopping list of other stuff ive written out......might be worth borrowing a van for the weekend
Outlaw Pete 2,224
F**k sake, Gnash! Your really rubbing it in now! I've seen video of Stafford, on You Tube. It's an immense affair! I went to a herpetological sale once, on a similar scale. Mind bending! I was so afraid to start buying shit, because every turn brought me to other Must Haves, and I figured I'd run out of money too soon. In the end, I went home empty handed! Mental! I should have grabbed the first thing that caught my eye. I think having a more experienced guide on hand would be tremendous. Otherwise it can be a bit overwhelming
