I think sometimes them types more saluki than saluki lol the ones I just bred sensible as feck, most lads say they more like lurcher pups in nature, my own pups recall is exceptional to date, could all go out the window later though, but so far very sensible,

The bitch in the picture really taught me too sit back and look at myself, I lost my blob with her a couple of times, but would forgive anything cos of the way she ran quarry, even a raised voice and she would be long gone, spent many a night waiting for her to come back, or had to go back with lamp and eventually she would forgive and come back, sheer frustration lead to me looking for and learning a new approach, eventually it clicked and I had her more or less 90% and given more time it may have improved, however every dog that's come after her has benefitted from what she learned me, now I rarely ever have to even raise my voice to any of em

i prefer a third to half at most for an allround hunting saluki cross , want something fast and can stop qaurry on the lamp sharpish or in the day time ,got saluki type pups at moment fetching jumping pretty biddable and there not nervy or nesh good pups , best dogs ive saw are good saluki saturated lurcher to good fast sensible lurcher type , saw some very good ones, catch bolting rabbs go and knock two or three hares over and then do a job at nite ,great dogs

infact baw I have a lining planned later on this year where im going to be keeping a pup for myself.if you want a pup let me know.these will be saturated with saluki.

they will work out at least 7/8ths saluki.and I will be running on very small fields and big land as well ..hopfully these will do the job..its all a risk these breeding malarkey but he who dares wins

f**k me, it's the ears. I just couldn't run anything with big fluffy ears like that, they'd be like Velcro an hour with me and its head would be a mass of heather, gorse, brambles and sticky willies

No not yet think a we saluki whippet would be a decent enough we dog

i have one and he was late to mature but he is just over 2 an half and he is flying and he has made a good alrounder
