MoChara 1,632
Only time i travelled was for 11 chicks and 10 ducklings, took about 3/4 hours including taking a ferry, and getting badly lost.! Thee rest came from a fella down the road who was giving it all up, so we took in 4 of his chickens (thats all the room we had at the time). Strange how things change started off with 11 chicks - then was minding some chickens for a friend which took my tally up to 22 birds all in at a time now have 11 chickens and 4 roosters - most of which are the first chicks we went to get on the ferry.

MoChara 1,632
O.T.T - never kept gamefowl, last year the fella's sister had to go on holiday and we'd to go pick her ducks up, he took a notion of getting some ducklings and chicks himself - never was into birds myself but agree'd anyway. He ended up with not much time for them due to work commitments so i helped him out with feeds etc.. 3 days of helping him ended up 7 days a week and i ended up doing it myself... Ended up hooked.! They were the creatures who started off me having a mini farm now. Going from having no interest in anything with feathers - to now completely loving them.! Im no expert, just a lover of them. Its nice to see some decent folk still about.! Finding that out more and more of late. And its in this section
