bigmac 97kt 13,836 Posted January 30, 2014 Report Share Posted January 30, 2014 Try,ed to get out on Friday night it was a nice day all day sun was out but it was still windy and there was a nip in the air so i put the battery's on charge and sorted my gear out. Filled the rifle with air gave it the once over to check every thing was OK bagged it up and waited for the time to go a few hours past then i started to load the car.Then just as i was walking out of the door the sky opened up and the rain was bouncing off the ground GUTTED i sat for a hour or so then empty,ed the car and sat in a huff for the rest of the night.Well i try.ed again to night i got to the farm for 6,30 set the raider up then zero,ed her in at 35 yards and off i went saw a few but it was not that they were to far away it was that you needed a boat and not a pair of welly, s fields were like lake,s all but one but the wind was on my back so a long walk up past the morgue and down the path over the fence and i was in the said field with the wind on my face but nothing there so off i went eny way lamping as i walked.Now this field is full of tufts of grass and when your lamping some of them look like rabbits with there backs to you from a distance so when i did come across one at first i thought it was just a tuft of grass then it turned to face me.Then ran like the clappers i chased it all the way across the field then it stopped just short of the fence about 40 yards away so i went down on one knee took aim and let one loose and it just rolled over not even a kick i soon found out why the jsb had taken its brain out so it would not have known what hit it and as i had not been out for quite a bit i was well chuffed so just the one but a good size one off i went with my prize and not a sine of mixie so things may be looking up back on the farm just wish the water would feck off so i could get back on the other fields but not to worry it will soon be Xmas atvbmac PS Skot super auto kill works a treat much better than auto aim 6 Quote Link to post
