I think deer Hunter ram trousers do, I wear shooter king trousers I bought at the Midland game fair for my earthdog work and trapping, hope this helps?

Have a look at Sherwood trousers for shooting ... They are only around £40 .........

dickies do a work trouser that you put foam inserts into, then waterproofs over the top

I just use Waterproof leggings..same as the ones used by Beaters on pheasant shoots...

 

I've tried all manner of trousers./knee pads,..inserts,.you fecking name it,...but the ole leggings suit me now..

I don't normaly bother but my knees are starting to give me trouble and I cant do with those pads with straps on.

I wear Snickers work trousers with knee pads in,When i am mole trapping i kneel on my spade to keep out of the mud.

Interesting topic, with a few interesting answers.

 

Over the years I've tried all sorts. I do have some 'strap on' knee pads (ooh, matron), but I fecking hate the things.

 

Like Phil, most of the time I just wear waterproof leggings, but they really aren't enough when you are putting in hundreds of traps. I quite like the idea of some waterproof trousers with built in pads.

I've just found some on deerhunter web site there called almati trousers. I'll let you know if they're any good.

I use firemans trousers, there gortex with reinforced knees have braces built in so keep your lower back warm, & there designed to be worn with boots so not to long that they drag on the floor

I am currently on the sick with a knee infection[celuligtous] second time in 3 years.

Cause constantly kneeling when doing daily work small cut or abrasion on the knee and ingress of dirt.

 

To say it is painful is an understatement and totally impossible to work with.

 

We used to use arco trousers with knee pads after previous problem but dispensed with them because they look washed out very quickly.

 

Going back to Arco trousers rather look a little untidy than get a re-occurrence.
