Its worth keeping in mind the cost of living in Switzerland compared to here.....property for example is ridiculous.....i looked at flats just outside Zurich a few years ago rentals were fetching 4000 francs p/month works out around 350 quid p/week just basic 2 bed flats its a very expensive place to live so while 70k sounds good dollar its probably the equivalent to staying here and earning 40k !

Way above 70K and there is the C&B package, covers money towards rent/healthcare etc

You are right though Switzerland can be expensive but the lack of taxes and the availability of good paying jobs (take the wife, she get's a shitty job earning 50k  ) that's you and yours sorted if you're prudent

Edited to add this is not in Geneva or Zurich so the cost of living is much less, 70chf would be more like 50-55k ;)

Yep im sure your right i didnt look too deep into it to be honest.......i remember someone telling me a basic checkout girl in a supermarket will get the equivalent of 15 quid p/hour.........beautiful country right enough so for a young couple willing to chance their arm a bit would be a great little experience for a few years

Some of my clients are paying a shedload of money for the most basic of positions... but they do like to keep these within the Swiss family  They like to get the very best from wherever for the higher profiles, but for the lower ones it's 98% Swiss all the way. In my eyes it's the best thing for a country's youth and less qualified citizens......

UK could do with taking note
