hedge hunter 107 Posted January 14, 2014 Report Share Posted January 14, 2014 Hi there mate, forget the silent whistle, what you need is a acme 210.1/2 gundog whistle. Works a treat, been tried and tested for years, and is the recognised spaniel whistle. Cheap easy to pick up, always the same tone and note. Plus I usually pick a few up at a time because guaranteed you will lose 1 I kmow i do lol cheers hh Quote Link to post

air gun ant 1,666 Posted January 14, 2014 Report Share Posted January 14, 2014 acme for me aswell but i use 211.5 but thats only because thats all that was in the shop, also all the other lads use 210.5 so i thought at least my dog should recognise his whistle against the others going on around him. but to be honest its more how you blow it i think as i once had to use a friends after loosing mine and the dog still didnt listen to me so i dont think the tone matters much lol Quote Link to post
