Neal 1,930
Talk about a coincidence, I was thinking about that little whippet cross earlier this week when reading another thread. If I remember correctly, her name was Tyne and she was a collie/whippet x russel, mainly white with a half mask face. He wrote some very funny articles including one in which he mentioned a gaenacologist; he said he knew he was a gaenacologist because he wallpapered his hallway through the letter-box. That one still has me in stitches.
Guest Ditch_Shitter
I remember them all, very well. Les specialised in the amusing tales. Often had me pissing myself too. Phil Lloyd once told me it was all well and good, but that Les would soon enough burn himself out. Phil would know - him being the most face achingly guy I've sat in front of since Billy Connelly! M\ybe Phil was right? I don't honestly remember what happened next. I don't even remember what became of SN. That's a fact. Gary Hosker? Had a Dog called " Spud ", as I recall. Adrian (" Deirgi ", or however "Chief" spells it) S? Moved into the political arena of Field Sports, hasn't he? Like Phil and myself, he looks frighteningly 'older' now than the twenty something young man of those days! It's sobering to think that many of the then older guys of those days may well be dead and buried by now. A few more of us, no doubt, not exactly light years behind them either! F*ck me; How time whizzes by!

Guest Ditch_Shitter
Who's the two on the right there, Chalks? Don't recognise them. I always wonder what Avan Preston looked like, ye know? Real Lady, by all accounts By the way; If ye fed up with those strides yet, mate? Sling 'em over! That's just the cammo I'm looking for! German 'Sprechtarn', or something, isn't it?
Phil Lloyd 10,739
Yeah,.Aven was one hard Motherfecker,... The gal on the left of the picture is Tracy Allen the Advertising Manager of CountryMan's Weekly and the Harry Potter 'look-a-like' behind her is the ferreting man,.Simon Whitehead... As for the Jurman cammos,.well,..like the local branch of Hells Angels,.'The Living Dead',..(remember them)... They are my 'originals',... They are stained with the blood and guts of several hundred Bambi's,..and this odorous mix is further enhanced with my own fear induced 'bodily fluids',...so,.best not,.eh.... All the best to you old friend,....cheers,.CHALKWARREN..... Edited October 1, 2007 by CHALKWARREN
