cocpops 19 Posted January 7, 2014 Report Share Posted January 7, 2014 (edited) I have been really lucky, I got my Cocker Spaniel bitch for only £150 she turned out to be an absolute dream. Really smart great in the field, water and also at home with the kids. I've never bred dogs but would love to keep the line as she's so smart. I've started read books on what to do etc regards breeding, and step one is finding a suitable match. As she is very smart I'd prefer finding a similarly clever dog. I think the norm is for the stud dog owner to get the pick of the litter. If you have a Smart dog and would consider breeding him let me know. Better than profit I would say. Pity I hadn`t decided that I should have bred my cocker until he was too old to breed. He is another £150 dream dog, Best beating spaniel I`ve ever seen.
