keepitcovert 842 Posted January 5, 2014 Report Share Posted January 5, 2014 nowt like a quality barbour wax jacket, shot up in price, but hey, they do last som,e years , so not that bad in long run Your right there mate got a solway zipper i bought in 1985 and still wear it in the field, its a bit battered now but then so am i, they used to say that you only bought one barbour in your lifetime, but the modern trendy ones that look like the belstaff bikers jacket with the barbour label displayed on the front wont last as long. Nowadays the majority ive seen wearing them are the barbie lookalikes on the school run in 3litre 4x4s with no towbar. you know the type the ones you meet on narrow country lanes and wont pull their wheels onto the verge so you can both pass, god forbid that you should get any of that nasty mud stuff under your wheel arches. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I bought 3 for £120 about 16 years ago (when I was image concious lol) Still in good nick despite them getting a days wear pretty much every week Ditto Bennys, got about 10, but usually get them from the factory outlets/sales.
