the younger arabs in the m/e will take anything they can , from were they can . there mentality has changed !!   they want to race in Qatar and Dubai for big bucks .the wealthy royals will never

Its no different for the dogs and horses here and in Europe , there are plenty of "Men with Dogs" that run them if they dont bowl the 3/4s over or get a bit of an injury they get punted on or dumped ,

a few have imported mate from Europe kennels , some even made the journey and got stock from main countries iran Iraq, Arabia etc etc , however from what I have learned over the years they have interested me is more than likely they will take your pants down and shaft ya, its more or less the same story as here in uk, loads of shit bred for coin the real deal stuff is either with extremely rich who wont and don't need to sell, or piss poor man who wont sell to ya cos he don't know ya or want too, also to consider is why would they? coin means fook all over there, plus they not that keen on us either these days , so its not a time where ya can go wandering around them places making pals to get a result,

its also very costly (not including the dog) and as we all know even best to best is no guarantee, I really would love to own a one from abroad and concede the need for more lines of better quality but the risk is enormous and the reward (financially) crap, six year ago I paid good money for a dog pup, going rate at time, some sold for more back then , now ya cannot sell em pal,not popular at all, but as ever there's always someone who wants em enough and will get one, seen a couple of imports run both impressed, however Ive been impressed by uk stock as well at times , Hopefully the working ability of the breed can be improved on, consistency would be the main goal, from there who knows, but its not all about hares either, they make canny allrounders, tough durable dogs, clever and gutsy hunters, great feet and stamina to last all day or night, marmite as they come lol either love em or hate em lol

p***y poacher of here has two bitches he might sell to right lad, you would have to speak to him about that pal, I bred and reared em, how well they will do in the future is a question I cannot honestly answer, no one can I really hope they do the business, Ive done my very best by the dog, the bitch has a history, see other threads , some shit been said about her , its not true , we happy enough with what we done and the feedback about the pups Ive had is excellent and no muppets own em so feedback genuine and encouraging so far, rest only time will tell, if theowners get half the pleasure out of em Ive had from me dog , then no one gunna be to upset, except maybe the missus when it chews the couch or eats the sunday roast

in a nutshell no one in uk can sell you a saluki that will kill 3/3 and match saluki lurchers imho ,(to be fair though a lot of lurcher litters cannot guarantee it either) however you may be able to buy a dog that's got the potential to be a good honest sporting dog with the physical attributes to become a consistent hare killer , the rest down to man behind dog and the dog itself, if ya don't try ya never get I reckon, not forgetting you can also mooch with em, lamp em, what ever ya want, better than ending up a show dog or piggy bank for some doley

wherever you go in the world you will find dog peddlers , .in more recent years the the near east and middle est realised the westerner would pay big bucks , they jumped on the bandwagon , and will tell you what you want to here !! 99% of it is shite , . you got to do some serious homework and you still need a few bob ,

i was nearly 2 years talking, visiting, and talking to folk from all over the world before i did it

the arabs came over couple months ago and took alot of our lines bk with them they took my bitch bk with them along with a few others

just shows what can come from properly thought out breeding mate, class litter that un for sure, if the arabs ever come to uk to buy a pure then we know we heading in right direction with em for sure,

I reckon Brookie gave me good solid foundation in Nero, same when Marcus took Mars bitch from um and raised the bar expectation wise, it shows the lines still got summat to give and at end of day its not always about what they can do for improving lurchers, gaing consistency performance and temperment wise within the breed itself far more important in long run
